Almost every day of class, I open with a “Song of the Day” that I hope connects thematically with what I’m about to teach (even if sometimes only very, very loosely). Then at the end of the semester I create a Spotify playlist to share with my students. Here are those playlists for the Spring 2021 semester:
Song of the Day Playlists
Every class I teach begins with a ‘Song of the Day’. I make sure that it connects thematically, in some way, to whatever I’m teaching. Several of my students have asked for playlists of these songs, so I created them for both my Old Testament and World Religion class. For those interested, here they are on Spotify:
