This is the blog of Brian LePort (PhD, University of Bristol), a rare bird who teaches Religious Studies to high schoolers. If you teach this same age demographic, or even older students (or no students at all), I hope you’ll find something of value here.
Just remember: “The views expressed on this blog do not necessarily represent the views of my co-religionists, employer, spouse, family, friends, etc…not even when they’re true and reasonable!” (Adapted from the disclaimer given on the radio show, “Philosophy Talk”.)

Great to see you preaching/teaching… first time for me. Good job on clear explanation and on a good application for both your role and the students or others listening. Getting less afraid (and other positives, whenever they can be added) of “the other” is indeed at the heart of what’s dividing us so much these days. Not new, for sure, but it’s been heightened and exploited lately.
